The Twitter train is working well for a lot of people. I like the concept, especially ideas like the Twitter of Faith. For those who don’t tweet (an update on Twitter) the idea is like a Facebook status update only in 140 characters or less (for SMS purposes) with responses and topics etc…
The Twitter of Faith idea is to try to write your entire statement of faith in 140 characters or less, which is not an easy task. Karl Barth, according to many blogs and wikiquote, once summarized the hefty Church Dogmatics in less that 140 characters saying, “Jesus loves me, this I know, for the Bible tells me so.” Barth’s tweet is pretty phenomenal when you think about it. Here’s mine:
